I just saw Star Trek with my mother at a senior citizen center. It was awe inspiring and terribly frightening reality. Vulcan and its 6 billion inhabitants was utterly annihilated by a rogue mining ship.
With all this crime and war, is humanity ready for space travel and colonization?
I think with a utopian society, space colonization will be very feasible.
Alas with all this freedom in democractic nations, space travel may lead to total annihilation planets.
Where democracy may fail...
The communism quasi military state may bring the light of space colonization to an utopian apex...
